Alicia has played 3 tournaments since the last update, all the results
are up in that particular section. The next big tournament is the US
Open in New York which starts on the 26th of August. Alicia has drawn
Patricia Wartusch who is ranked 68th (Alicia is 80th at the moment),
but if she wins that, 2nd round will probably be Venus Williams. More
frequent updates as the tournament approaches. Good luck Alicia!
Sorry about the lack of updates, but I've been away for a few weeks.
Anyway, Alicia has had some terrific results at the Fed Cup winning
all her matches, and won one of those close matches, which (if you look
in the articles section) has given her a lot of confidence. I've got
11 new pictures up, 2 new articles and the results from Wimbledon and
the Fed Cup, more updates soon!
Alicia will be playing in both mixed and ladies doubles today at Wimbledon
with Wayne Arthurs and Magui Serna respectively. Those other updates
I promised will up either Friday or Saturday.
Alicia had very tight match against Mary Pierce in the first round,
but lost 4-6 6-4 6-8. Alicia did fight hard against her more experienced
opponent, saving match point at 2-5 and 4-5 down in the last set and
nearly achieved a good win. In case you were wondering, Fox Sports showed
the game live last night at around 7pm Perth time. Alicia is playing
in the doubles and might be playing today, as the official site just
says TBA. There is a new article about her Pierce match up, and there
will be quite a few new photos and results coming in the next few days.
Alicia has again unfortunately been beaten in a close match at Easbourne,
after getting to the second round. Vanessa Webb won with a 7-6 (13-11)
3-6 7-5 score line over Alicia. The next tournament is Wimbledon which
starts on Monday. The draw sheets are already out and Alicia has drawn
a tough first round match against Mary Pierce. Also Alicia has been
named in the Fed Cup squad against the Netherlands later in the year.
Good luck Alicia at Wimbledon!
Alicia lost her first round match at the DFS Classic in a very close
encounter with two tie-break sets. The final result was 7-6 (7-2) 7-6
(8-6), in favor of Tatarkova. Alicia is also playing doubles in the
same tournament with Maqui Serna.
Alicia's next tournament is in Eastbourne which starts next week, there

the French Open, but she did make it through to the 3rd round of the
doubles. The results and articles have been updated. Next up is the
lead up tournaments in England before Wimbledon. Sorry for not updating
earlier but I've had a very busy week.
Alicia was knocked out of the Madrid Open in the second round by Anna
Smashanova in two sets. The French Open starts tomorrow and Alicia is
playing Emilie Loit, who is French, so I guess Alicia won't have a lot
of support from the crowd. In Australia the Open is on both on free
to air and pay TV, with Fox showing it live (I think). Also the Madrid
Open results have been updated, as well as 2 new good pics from Madrid.
Good luck Alicia at the French!
Alicia has played the first round of the Madrid tournament and won with
a 6-4 6-3 over Amy Frazier, hopefully she will get her self into some
good form before the French Open next week. I've put up the result and

to have cartisol injections due to the inflammation in the joint, but
it has come good. More photo's in the next few days hopefully.
Australia has just finished their Fed Cup tie against Belgium, and went
down 3-1. Alicia wasn't able to get into any form when she was up against
world number 8 Justine Henin and number 3 Kim Clijsters. Alicia will
be playing in a lead up tournament to the French Open in Madrid which
starts on May 20th, a week before the French. The results and links
sections are the only sections updated today.
Alicia unfortunately drew Mary Pierce, the wildcard, in the first round
of the Family Circle Cup. Mary Pierce is apparently coming back and
starting to hit some good form, which was unlucky for Alicia. The final
score was 6-3 6-4 with Alicia with the one break of serve in the match.
Alicia has been knocked out of the Bausch & Lomb Championships in
the 2nd round by 6th seed Silvia Farina Elia (6-4 6-2). Silvia Farina
Elia appeared to be the more aggresive player judging from the match
stats, as she came to the net more, and had more winners and also unforced
errors. Alicia will be next playing at the Family Circle Cup on the
13th of the month.
Unkown to myself Alicia is playing in a tournament before the Family
Circle Cup, thanks to Glyn from the Forum for the info. And Alicia has

Alicia has unfortunately been bundled out of the Nasdaq 100 in the first
round by the qualifier Tatiana Perebiynis. Alicia was beaten 6-1 6-4,
in a match where Perebiynis was the far more aggressive of the two,
also Alicia hasn't played in a tournament since Doha which didn't help
her cause. Alicia will have her chance to bounce back at the Sarasota
tournament starting April 1.
Alicia will be playing against Tatiana Perebiynis in the first round
of the Nasdaq 100 today. A link to the tournament website is in the
