A little while back, Tim's update below asked if anyone would be interested
in taking over the the site from him as he no longer has the time to
keep the site up to date like he would like too ... Well I emailed him
about it, so now I'm in the position to 'fill his shoes' ... he has
done a fantastic job, so that'll be pretty hard, but I'll try!
I'll update everything A.S.A.P, including all the latest on Alicia's
fantastic run, which unfortunately came to an end yesterday at the Australian
Open where she had to retire from her first round match against Iroda
Tulyaganova of Uzbekistan with an foot injury, after taking the first
set 6-4 and with the scores at 4-6 in the second. An MRI scan today
revealed that Alicia will be out of action for at least 8 weeks, with
muscle/tendon damage in her foot, which must be a bitter blow after
all the successes she has just had...For the moment, read all about
it either at Fox Sports or
the Official Australian Open website

Alicia and Lleyton are doing well at the Hopman Cup, but what the
update is about is the lack of updates. I haven't had and will not have
enought time to keep this site up to the standard that i would be happy
with, so what I am saying is that i'm putting this site up for someone
else to run. If you want to know more send me an email at timjames@tpg.com.au,
and we can work out all the arrangements. If no body else wants to run
the site, i'll simply leave it up as is, and update when i get the time,
which will be quite rare. Anyway, all the best to Alicia and Lleyton
in Perth.

Alicia won her first round match 6-4 6-0 in just 42 minutes, but she
is up against Venus Williams in the second round today. Her match is
on the Arthur Ashe staduim which is the second biggest court at the
US Open. Hopefully Alicia can cause a big upset and make it through
to the 3rd round. Good Luck Alicia!!
